We’ve partnered with one of Auckland Airport’s premier Park and Ride services, Aeroparks Ltd, to make your rental experience even more convenient. Located just a 5 minute drive from the airport, Aeroparks operates a reliable valet parking service. Their shuttle service is available 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring you’re met at the domestic or international terminal no matter your airline or arrival time.

To take advantage of this service, we require at least 24 hours’ notice to ensure a vehicle is ready for you at the airport. A one-time fee of $80* ($40 for pickup and $40 for drop-off) applies for this service. 

Upon clearing the terminal, simply contact Aeroparks. They will transport you to their base, where your rental vehicle will be waiting. All necessary documents, including the rental contract, breakdown instructions, and any additional items like a GPS unit (if requested), will be placed in the vehicle’s glovebox. Please note that Aeroparks acts as our agent only for vehicle handovers. They cannot accept payments or answer questions about our rental terms—please contact our office directly at 0800 46 22 74 or email us at admin@basicrentals.co.nz for any inquiries during business hours (8 AM to 5 PM, 7 days a week). Don’t forget to bring a valid photo ID to present at the Aeroparks counter.

If you plan to return your rental vehicle to the airport, please drop it off at the Aeroparks Ltd facility, located at 116 Greenwood Road, Mangere, Airport Oaks, Auckland. Ensure the fuel tank is full and report any damage, no matter how minor, to our office before returning the vehicle. Once Aeroparks checks the car into their system, their shuttle will transfer you back to the airport in time for your flight.
