Key Terms & Conditions

Below is a summary of our key terms and conditions for your review. Please read these in conjunction with our full Terms and Conditions, which can be viewed or downloaded below.

Driver’s Licence

All drivers must hold a valid full NZ or overseas driver’s licence. If the licence is not in English, an official translation must be provided.

Key Insurance Exclusions

Regardless of the insurance package selected (Bronze, Silver, or Gold), coverage does not apply if:

• The vehicle sustains damage from a rollover.
• Damage occurs to the vehicle’s underbody.
• Damage occurs to the vehicle’s overbody.
• Damage is sustained above the windscreen/cab height on vans, minibuses, or trucks.

Payment Requirements

Payment is required at the start of the rental and can be made via cash, EFTPOS, or debit/credit card. A valid credit or debit card must be provided regardless of the payment method chosen.

Security Bond

A $300 security bond is required for all van and truck hires. This bond is refundable upon the completion of the rental, provided the terms of the rental agreement are met.

Kilometre Charges

For vehicles with per-kilometre charges, these costs will be deducted from the security bond when the vehicle is returned. Additional charges, such as infringement fees, may also be deducted at the end of the hire period.

Early Returns & Extensions

• Early Returns: No refunds will be provided for unused rental days if the vehicle is returned early.
• Extensions: Extensions are subject to availability. The daily rental rate for the extension will be based on the rate applicable at the time of the request, which may differ from your original rate.

Additional Charges

• Infringement Processing Fee: $50 per infringement (e.g., speeding/parking tickets, unpaid tolls). This fee covers administrative costs to transfer liability.
• Cleaning Fee: $150. Vehicles must be returned in a clean and tidy condition.
• Smoking Fee: $150. Smoking in or near the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
• Filling Fee: $25 plus the cost of fuel. Vehicles must be returned with a full tank of fuel.

Parking

Customer parking is only available for pick-up and drop-off at our depots. We do not provide parking for personal vehicles during your rental period.
